Biotherm was born in 1952 in France. The story began when a military doctor, Jos Julien, discovered the mystery of the Regenerating Fountain, or Life Plankton™ . This became an exclusive Biotherm ingredient.

Since then, Biotherm has developed a unique process to recreate the natural and extraordinary conditions of the Regenerating Fountain. This was the Fermogenesis™ process, which harnessed the power of Life Plankton .

Biotherm Homme

From this process, in 1985, Biotherm Homme was born. A skincare line created specifically for men, including Biotherm Homme Aquapower .

Skin Care Products

Over the years, the company introduced the extraordinary Aquasource moisturizing cream. This Biotherm cream was characterized by the fact that it contained the same concentration of thermal plankton extract as found in 5,000 liters of water. A richly textured cream that kept skin hydrated and radiant hour after hour.

Environmental Commitment

In 2012, Biotherm launched Water Lovers, a global community platform committed to protecting our planet's waters. The brand works daily to improve its formulas and packaging design on biotherm.it , experimenting with new recycling technologies, and reducing its environmental footprint.
