The Korean routine, step by step
1. Double cleansing
First an oil or a balm to dissolve make-up and sunscreen (Skin1004 Centella Light Cleansing Oil, Beauty of Joseon Radiance Cleansing Balm), then a low-pH foaming cleanser for the actual wash (COSRX Low pH Good Morning Cleanser, Anua Heartleaf Pore Cleansing Foam).
2. Toner and essence
Korean toner is not astringent: it rehydrates straight after cleansing and prepares the skin for the steps that follow. Beauty of Joseon Ginseng Essence Water and the Medicube toner pads do this job.
3. Serum
This is the targeted step: vitamin C for dark spots, peptides and PDRN for firmness, centella asiatica for reactive skin, hyaluronic acid for hydration.
4. Moisturiser
It seals in the previous steps. Korean textures are generally lighter than Western ones: gel-creams for combination skin, richer creams such as Beauty of Joseon Dynasty Cream for dry skin.
5. Sunscreen, every day
This is where Korean cosmetics set the standard: SPF50+ filters with a fluid texture, no white cast, comfortable to wear under make-up. The collection includes sunscreens in cream, serum and stick form.
Sheet masks
The best-known K-Beauty format: a sheet soaked in serum, left on for 15-20 minutes. Here you will find Missha Airy Fit in eleven variants, Kocostar masks for face and lips, and the Biodance Bio Collagen hydrogel mask.
Frequently asked questions
Where do I start?
With three products: a gentle cleanser, a moisturiser and an SPF50+ sunscreen. Serums and masks come later, one at a time, so you can see how your skin reacts.
Are they suitable for sensitive skin?
Many formulas are made for reactive skin: centella asiatica, snail mucin, panthenol and ceramides are soothing ingredients. The rule stays the same — introduce one new product at a time.
Are the products genuine?
Yes: every product in our catalogue is genuine and sealed, sourced from authorised distribution channels.
