The Biopoint brand was founded in Italy in 1954, in a small laboratory in Bologna. Its first product was the famous Crema Balsamo, produced for beauty salons and destined to become a true cult in the Italian scene, the forerunner of a successful series of other products with the same target audience.
In 1985, Biopoint entered the perfumery sector, the first step in the creation of the haircare sector, in which the brand is now the undisputed leader.
The range's products are almost entirely hair care, but it also includes body care products such as moisturizing creams and oils, targeted exclusively at women, differentiated by age depending on the product line. Biopoint's most important product lines today are: Ayurveda for hair care; Seven Ages, which combats the signs of aging; Extreme Repair, a line of regenerating products for damaged hair; Solaire, a line of hair protection products; Daily Force, a line designed to strengthen hair; Dermocare, a line designed to care for and protect the skin and scalp; and Sport & Swim, to protect hair from chlorine damage and irritants in the pool and sea.
