The BioSilk brand was founded in 1986 and is part of Farouk Systems. The brand is known for its most famous and widely used product: Biosilk Silk Therapy, a silk-enriched serum that ensures optimal recovery of the hair fiber and gives hair shine and brilliance.
Biosilk has combined the power of silk and proteins, resulting in silky soft and elastic hair. The products offer protection against damage caused by moisture loss, UV radiation, high temperatures and styling and are ammonia-free.
Over the years, Biosilk has expanded the range of the Silk Therapy line. In addition to nourishing hair products such as shampoos, conditioners and masks, it has also introduced styling products, which nourish the hair giving it a healthy and strong appearance, such as the Biosilk Rock Hard Styling Gelee, a hair gel that leaves no residue and is completely free of sulphates and sls. Recently, the brand has introduced products based on coconut oil and the BioSilk Hair Color line, a hair color that uses the power of silk.
