Capucci is the brand created by the designer Roberto Capucci. More than a designer, he is defined as a genius of fabric sculpture, who conceives fashion as a work of art. Born in Rome in 1930, he showed a love of art and originality from an early age. He attended art school and studied at the Academy of Fine Arts, then found work with Emilio Schuberth, where he learned the art of fashion design. In 1950 he founded his fashion house and in 1951 he designed the clothes worn by Giovan Battista Giorginini's wife and daughters in the famous first Italian fashion show at Villa Torregiani, arousing the admiration of journalists and buyers.
