The story of Hans Schwarzkopf begins when a qualified chemist from Berlin opened a tiny emporium with a highly regarded fragrance section at the time.
Hans dislikes the expensive oils and harsh soaps used to wash his hair, so he creates a new solution, launching a powdered shampoo that dissolves in water, which is an immediate success. Later, he also produces a liquid version, inventing Onakali, the world's first non-alkaline shampoo.
Subsequently, a series of launches revolutionized the market: Poly Color for at-home coloring; Taft, the first hairspray; Poly Soft Toner, a temporary liquid hair color; Igora Botanic, semi-permanent dyes using a biodegradable, plant-based formula; and Re Nature, a dye for the natural repigmentation of gray hair.
The innovations continue with Multi-Accent technology, Senso Touch Effect, Brilliance Luminance, Activ Dr. Hoting which combats non-pathological hair loss and Coloriste, which allows you to obtain an intense and brilliant color in just 10 minutes.
